Ring torsion load cell FCRN is made from stainless steel offering 500ton, 330ton, 220ton, 150ton, 100ton, 68ton, 47ton, 33ton, 20ton, 15ton, 10ton, 4.7ton, 2.2ton and 1ton fourteen rated capacities intended for compression force measurement. Compression sensor FCRN is temperature compensated and hermetically sealed to provide consistent measurements over a wide temperature range even in harsh working conditions. Ring torsion load cell FCRN is insensitive to the lateral forces due to the circular arrangement of the strain gauges. Compression load cell FCRN consists of a Wheatstone full bridge with an input resistance of 4450 ohms, which helps reduce power consumption, this makes it applicable for force measurement or weighing applications that are powered by battery. You may find model FCRN suitable for applications such as tank weighing, bridge pier pressure monitoring, press machines, and so on.

Brief instruction of Rated output(or Sensitivity):
Definition: The signal produced by load cell(or force transducer) when rated load is applied, expressed in terms of mV/V. The rated output indicates the output signal range of a sensor.
Sensor output = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of ring torsion load cell FCRN is normally around 2.85mV/V.
Power supply of compression type load cell FCRN is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of ring torsion load cell FCRN is normaly within 0mV...+42.75mV.
Example: Pancake Load Cell FCRN-4.7t with 2.85mV/V power by 10V DC,the output range is 0mV...+28.5mV proportional to the applied load.
Load cell + Signal amplifier:
The mV output from the loadcell transducer sometimes cannot be recognized by signal processing units directly,so signal conditioner is introduced to convert mV signal into 0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example: Compression Force Load Cell FCRN-10t working with 0-10V amplifier,the load-output relationship will be 0-10ton compressive load VS 0-10V output,0V output corresponds to 0kg, 1V output corresponds to 1000kgf compression load, 5V output corresponds to 5000kgf load,and so on.
